In 2013, he opened Rose’s Luxury with the vision of creating a welcoming neighbourhood restaurant offering inventive cuisine. The restaurant quickly gained national acclaim, being named Best New Restaurant in America by Bon Appétit in 2014 and topping GQ’s list of Outstanding Restaurants the following year.
In 2016, Silverman expanded his culinary vision with Pineapple and Pearls, his interpretation of contemporary fine dining, followed by Little Pearl in 2018. That same year, he was featured on the cover of Food & Wine as one of America’s Best New Chefs and received a James Beard Award for Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic.
