Bio

Adam has received numerous national and international accolades for his restaurants, including major awards for both his flagship, Frog by Adam Handling, and his pub, The Loch & The Tyne. In 2024, he was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire for services to Hospitality and International Trade.

His Cornish gastropub, The Tartan Fox, was recognised for its excellence just months after opening, and in 2025 he unveiled Ugly Butterfly 2.0 at The Headland in Newquay—an evolution of his acclaimed Cornish restaurant, built around a flexible, produce-driven menu. That same year, he became the first British chef at his level to open a luxury chocolate shop in Covent Garden.

An ambassador for the GREAT Britain and Northern Ireland campaign, Adam was selected to create one of the official recipes for the Coronation of King Charles III. He has appeared on numerous television programmes worldwide, and is the author of four books, including his trilogy Frog, Why Waste?, and Perfect, Three Cherries.
