Bio

Her great-grandmother Sophie Pic founded the Auberge du Pin in 1891, which later moved to Valence under André Pic, her grandfather. Initially pursuing a career in fashion after business school, Anne-Sophie followed her heart and joined her father in the Valence kitchen. After his sudden passing, she and her husband, David Sinapian, took over the restaurant in 1997.

Anne-Sophie Pic’s cuisine reflects her passion for inspiring wonder and her belief in the interconnectedness of artistic disciplines. Influenced by nature, her love for ingredients, and travels in Asia, she crafts innovative dishes that honor tradition while embracing creativity and cross-cultural inspiration.

Beyond her kitchen, Pic collaborates on beverages and pastries, writes extensively, and published Imprégnation (2023), with an English edition, Suffusion, forthcoming in 2024.
