Born and raised in Hangzhou, Chef Yueliang Fu grew up immersed in the flavours, landscapes, and cultural heritage of his city—a foundation that continues to shape his culinary identity today. As a third-generation disciple of Master Shunxiang Dong, one of the most respected figures in traditional Hangzhou cuisine, Fu carries forward a legacy built on technique, refinement, and deep respect for regional craft.

Guided by the philosophy “rooted in tradition, embracing innovation,” he draws inspiration from the elegance of Song Dynasty culture, reimagining its spirit through a contemporary lens. His cuisine balances precision with creativity, transforming historical influences into dishes that feel fresh, thoughtful, and deeply connected to place.
