Gennaro Esposito is an Italian chef from Vico Equense, near Naples, and one of the most respected ambassadors of contemporary Campanian cuisine. He discovered his passion for cooking at an early age, beginning in pastry before completing formal hospitality training. His culinary path was shaped by formative experiences with renowned chefs including Gianfranco Vissani and Alain Ducasse, where he developed a strong foundation in technique, discipline and respect for exceptional ingredients.

In 1991, he opened Torre del Saracino, transforming it into a destination that blends tradition, creativity and a deep connection to local produce. His cuisine celebrates the flavours of the Sorrentine Peninsula with refinement and innovation.

Over the years, Esposito has received major national and international accolades, earning widespread critical acclaim for his culinary vision and consistency. He is also the founder of Festa a Vico, an annual celebration of gastronomy and solidarity that gathers leading chefs from around the world. Beyond his restaurants, he is committed to mentoring young talent and promoting Italian culinary culture globally.
