Chef Yang Jin, born in Fujian, is the owner and executive chef of Co-Restaurant. The name “Co-” derives from the Latin com, meaning “together”. At Co-, French technique, Sichuan soul and coastal memories intertwine in three overlapping circles of flavour — three circles, one table, a map of tastes created for here and now.
The restaurant has earned significant national and international acclaim, receiving prestigious culinary and service distinctions in 2026, as well as a recognised sommelier award in 2023. It has consistently retained a respected fine-dining honour in both 2025 and 2026.
In 2025, Co-Restaurant was ranked among the top 20 restaurants in mainland China in a leading Asian dining list and received a major creative brand award from Forbes China. Chef Yang himself has been recognised as one of China’s most promising young culinary talents, named in the 2025 Forbes China 30 Under 30 Chefs list.
