Chef Johnson Wong, originally from Johor, is the chef-founder of Gēn in Penang and Communal Table by Gēn. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Sydney, he built his craft in renowned international kitchens before returning to Malaysia to lead the culinary programme at Macalister Mansion.
