Born in Kashmir, he grew up surrounded by a rich food heritage, viewing gastronomy as a powerful form of expression and cultural connection. His curiosity led him on a global journey, refining his craft in some of the world’s most respected kitchens and earning significant international acclaim and prestigious industry accolades along the way.

Beyond the restaurant environment, Sadhu travels extensively across India, exploring remote landscapes in search of wild and indigenous ingredients. A strong advocate for regional produce, he draws particular inspiration from the Himalayan belt, celebrating its biodiversity and culinary traditions.

He now channels this vision into NAAR, his restaurant in Himachal Pradesh. Conceived as a tribute to the mountains he calls home, NAAR reflects his commitment to seasonality, sustainability and storytelling through food, positioning him as a leading voice in contemporary Indian gastronomy.
