
Quique Dacosta, a renowned Spanish chef, began his culinary journey in 1986. Since 1988, he has helmed what is now Quique Dacosta Restaurante in Denia.
His cuisine draws deeply from the Mediterranean Sea and the Montgó Natural Park, reflecting the region’s cultural and natural richness. Known worldwide for his artistic and innovative approach to gastronomy, Dacosta merges tradition with avant-garde techniques, showcasing local ingredients to create dishes that stimulate all the senses. His latest menu, „Por amor al arte II,” exemplifies his philosophy of combining aesthetics, emotion, and culinary excellence.
In addition to his flagship restaurant, he is the culinary director at the Mandarin Oriental Ritz in Madrid, where his Deessa restaurant has become a gastronomic landmark. Dacosta also leads several other ventures, including El Poblet, Llisa Negra, and Vuelve Carolina in Valencia, and ArrosQD in London.
Expanding his influence, he has developed “A Fuego,” a line of premium ready-to-cook rice dishes. An ambassador for Acción contra el Hambre, Dacosta continues to elevate Spanish cuisine while celebrating the cultural heritage of the Mediterranean.
