For the first time in its history, The Best Chef travelled to Middle East region to celebrate its eight edition on 4, 5, and 6 November. The announcement of the world’s best chef was the highlight of the event, during which incredible talks, debates, demonstrations and show cooking took place under the topic “The Future of Food”.
Awards Gala
The Best Chef Awards Gala in Dubai celebrated top global culinary talent, honoring nearly 600 chefs for their innovation and impact on modern gastronomy. The top award went to Rasmus Munk from Copenhagen’s Restaurant Alchemist, recognized for his groundbreaking approach to dining. Held in an elegant setting, the event featured awards, fine dining, and inspiring speeches, with a focus on sustainability and the future of food. It was a memorable night highlighting the artistry and progress in the culinary world.
Food Meets Science
Food Meets Science took place in Dubai on November 5, 2024, highlighting the fusion of science and gastronomy. Is science essential to gastronomy? Does gastronomy use science daily? Absolutely! These fields go hand in hand. This year’s conference focused on “The Future of Food (R)evolution,” featuring fascinating talks from chefs and scientists, along with live cooking demonstrations. The event underscored that the future of food blends knowledge, tradition, and exploration.
