Inés Páez Nin, widely known as Chef Tita, is a Dominican chef, cultural ambassador, and social activist celebrated for elevating Dominican gastronomy on the global stage. Born in Santo Domingo, she began her culinary journey at a young age and pursued formal training in hospitality and culinary arts in the Dominican Republic and the United States.

Chef Tita is the founder of the IMA Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering rural communities, supporting local farmers, preserving biodiversity, and strengthening food sovereignty.

Her culinary work is deeply rooted in indigenous ingredients, ancestral knowledge, and sustainable practices, transforming traditional Dominican cuisine into a contemporary expression of identity and pride.
