Tim Raue (born March 31, 1974, in Berlin) is a renowned German chef and entrepreneur celebrated for his innovative approach to fine dining. Raue began his culinary journey at 17, completing his apprenticeship at Restaurant Chalet Suisse Berlin and Restaurant Auerbach. By the age of 23, he became head chef, showcasing remarkable talent and leadership.

In 2003, Raue gained international recognition as Executive Chef at Swissôtel Berlin, earning 18 Gault & Millau points for Restaurant 44. In 2008, he became Culinary Director at Adlon Holding GmbH, where he quickly secured another accolade. His own restaurant, Restaurant Tim Raue, opened in 2010 and achieved 19 Gault & Millau points.

Beyond his flagship restaurant, Raue oversees several ventures, including Brasserie Colette Tim Raue and Hanami by Tim Raue on TUI Mein Schiff cruises. He is also the only German chef featured on Netflix’s Chef’s Table. An author and TV personality, Raue continues to inspire through his creative, entrepreneurial vision and passion for culinary excellence.
