Chef Cheung’s passion for cooking began at the age of seven while helping his grandmother in the kitchen. In 1987, he joined the esteemed Lei Garden Restaurant in Hong Kong, where he perfected the art of crafting delicate dim sum and authentic Cantonese dishes. In 1996, he relocated to Singapore and continued his journey with Lei Garden before joining Summer Pavilion in 2003.

At Summer Pavilion, Chef Cheung is known for his dedication to modest cooking techniques that highlight the natural flavors of premium ingredients. His menus reflect a refined balance of tradition and innovation, offering diners an elevated Cantonese dining experience.

Outside the kitchen, Chef Cheung enjoys traveling with his family, drawing inspiration from the diverse cuisines he encounters during his journeys. His passion for both family and food continues to shape his approach, delighting guests with his creative yet authentic culinary creations.
