Alfio Ghezzi was born in December 1970 in Breguzzo, a small mountain village near Madonna di Campiglio. With parents who had emigrated to Switzerland, he was raised by his grandmother, whose guidance instilled in him a love for simplicity, authenticity, and the alpine landscape. After a brief period studying literature, Ghezzi returned to his first calling—cooking—ultimately becoming a professor for young aspiring chefs. His talent and dedication soon earned him significant national recognition, firmly establishing him among Italy’s most respected culinary figures.

Beyond the kitchen, Ghezzi is an entrepreneur, mentor, and sought-after speaker in the world of contemporary gastronomy. He is also the operative partner of the two distinguished restaurants at EALA My Lakeside Dream, where his work continues to merge authenticity with creativity. Guided by nature and shaped by the mountains of his childhood, Alfio Ghezzi champions a cuisine that celebrates clarity, balance, and a deep respect for the land.
