Born in 1995 in Tarquinia, Lazio, Italy, Chef Andrea Selvaggini has built a remarkable culinary journey that led him to become the Executive Chef of Savage in Oslo.

Inspired by Italy’s rich gastronomic traditions and a strong passion for travel, Selvaggini pursued a career that would blend both. After graduating from culinary school, he began working in France and Luxembourg, where he developed a love for Fine Dining.

Returning to Italy, he refined his skills at renowned kitchens such as Metamorfosi and Pascucci al Porticciolo, deepening his creative approach to modern cuisine. His international path continued in Spain with Chef Quique Dacosta and later in Mexico at Quintonil under Chef Jorge Vallejo.

Selvaggini eventually moved to Norway, where he joined Maaemo and rose to the role of R&D Chef. He later led the kitchens at Kontrast and Einer as Head Chef.

In fall 2022, he opened Savage at the Revier Hotel in Oslo, where he continues to express his innovative culinary vision, blending technique, creativity, and cultural influences.
