Flavio Lucarini, born in Rome, began his culinary journey at a young age, gaining experience in highly regarded Parisian restaurants such as Le Gabriel and Bistrot d’à Côté Flaubert. His craft was further refined under the mentorship of respected chefs Francesco Apreda and Giovanni Passerini, where he developed both technical precision and a deep respect for exceptional ingredients. These formative years laid the foundation for his distinctive culinary voice. In 2023, Lucarini and his partner Aurora Storari opened Hémicycle in Paris. Within just four months, the restaurant attracted widespread critical acclaim, 

earning major industry recognition, including a top international restaurant award and a prestigious honour for its dessert programme in 2024. These achievements highlight Lucarini’s ability to deliver a refined and original dining experience that bridges Italian heritage with contemporary expression. At Hémicycle, Lucarini’s cuisine moves beyond conventional Italian cooking. Rather than relying on classic recipes, he creates menus that weave together diverse influences, reflecting both his roots and a global perspective.
