Benoît Dewitte is a Belgian chef and co-owner of the restaurant Benoit & Bernard Dewitte in Ouwegem, East Flanders, which he runs with his brother Bernard. After training and working in renowned kitchens in Italy and the south of France, he developed a refined culinary style rooted in classical French technique, with a strong focus on seasonality, vegetables, and pure, ingredient-driven flavours.

He opened his restaurant in the early 2000s, gradually transforming it into a refined fine dining destination known for its precision and minimalist approach. In 2005, he was named Young Chef of the Year by a leading culinary guide, marking an important milestone in his career. In 2012, his work received further major industry recognition, and in 2018 he was included among the world’s most influential chefs, confirming his growing international reputation.
