Brett Graham, originally from Newcastle, Australia, began his culinary journey at just 15, working at Scratchley’s on the Wharf — a humble seafood restaurant that sparked his lifelong passion for cooking. In 2005, he opened The Ledbury in London, which quickly became one of the most acclaimed dining destinations in the UK. Renowned for its elegant yet grounded approach to modern British cuisine,

The Ledbury has earned numerous honors, including repeated recognition among the best restaurants in the country and worldwide. Its consistent acclaim reflects Brett’s dedication to craftsmanship, innovation, and respect for seasonal produce. Today, the kitchen is led by Head Chef Tom Spenceley and Sous Chef Harry Corder, continuing Brett’s legacy of excellence.

Beyond The Ledbury, Brett co-owns The Harwood Arms in Fulham — a celebrated pub known for its refined approach to British comfort food and its commitment to sustainability and local sourcing. Brett Graham remains one of the UK’s most respected chefs, admired for his technical precision, creative depth, and his ability to balance sophistication with an authentic connection to nature and flavor.
