 In 2012, his talent was further recognized with a Michelin star at Gasthof Hirschen in Eglisau.

In 2014, he was awarded “Newcomer of the Year in German-speaking Switzerland” with 17 Gault Millau points, solidifying his place among Switzerland’s top chefs. In 2015, Kuchler took ownership of Taverne zum Schäfli in Wigoltingen, where he became the head chef.

Under his leadership, Taverne zum Schäfli flourished, earning 2 Michelin stars and 18 Gault Millau points by October 2017.
