Corey Lee is a celebrated chef and restaurateur with nearly 30 years of experience in top global kitchens. A multiple James Beard Award winner, he has played a key role in modernizing Asian cuisine. In 2010, he opened Benu, which earned 3 Michelin stars in 2014, making Corey the first Korean chef to achieve this distinction.
Corey is the author of Benu, a cookbook documenting the restaurant’s food and inspirations. He was also named a goodwill ambassador for Seoul. In 2021, Corey launched SAN HO WON, a casual Korean concept in San Francisco, which quickly became a local destination.
In 2024, Corey opened Na Oh in Singapore in partnership with Hyundai at their Innovation Center. The restaurant offers an immersive experience of traditional Korean cuisine, art, and design, collaborating with master Korean artisans to showcase both culinary and cultural craftsmanship.
