Bio

Dante, originally from Salvador, Brazil, and Kafe, from the small town of Ravensburg in southern Germany, first met while working at the renowned restaurant D.O.M. in São Paulo. Their shared passion for gastronomy became the foundation of both a personal partnership and a creative culinary collaboration. Kafe began her career at the Hilton Hotel in Munich before gaining experience at several highly regarded restaurants across Germany and

Switzerland. Her move to São Paulo to join D.O.M. marked a pivotal moment, expanding her perspective and deepening her approach to refined, ingredient-driven cuisine. Dante, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, built his early career in New York City, working in celebrated kitchens known for excellence and discipline. He later joined D.O.M., where he served as sous-chef for two years. Inspired by his partnership with Kafe, he moved to

Europe to further develop his craft, working in one of Switzerland’s most acclaimed kitchens. In 2017, united by the dream of creating something of their own, the couple returned to Brazil to open their restaurant. Blending Brazilian roots with European technique and global experience, their work has earned widespread industry recognition, establishing them as one of the most compelling chef partnerships in contemporary gastronomy.
