Davide Garavaglia, originally from Magenta near Milan, began his culinary journey early, first sparked by school workshops and later honed through internships.
After spending a year in England, he gained crucial experience working under renowned chefs like Davide Oldani, which solidified his commitment to the culinary arts. His next chapter took him to London, where he trained with Pierre Gagnaire, immersing himself in a kitchen philosophy built on creativity, freedom, and bold risks.
Garavaglia’s career continued to flourish when he joined Mauro Colagreco at Mirazur, where he worked for six years, developing his skills and refining his approach. This experience paved the way for his leadership role at Côte in Bangkok, where he fused Mediterranean flavors with local ingredients, creating a unique dining experience that quickly earned widespread acclaim.
Now recognized as one of Thailand’s leading young chefs, Garavaglia’s creativity and dedication to sustainable, high-quality cooking have made him a standout figure in the global culinary scene. His ultimate ambition is to open his own restaurant, closer to his roots in Italy.
