Kirk Westaway is an internationally acclaimed chef and a leading figure in contemporary British cuisine, celebrated for his refined, ingredient-driven approach. Born and raised in Devon, in the southwest of England, his cooking is deeply influenced by the countryside of his childhood, with a strong emphasis on seasonality, sustainability, and organic produce. 

Since 2015, Chef Kirk has led JAAN in Singapore, transforming it into a modern expression of British dining inspired by nostalgic flavors and exceptional seasonal ingredients. Under his leadership, the restaurant has earned multiple prestigious international accolades and maintained long-standing partnerships with renowned luxury brands, reflecting its consistency and excellence. In 2024, he expanded his culinary vision with the opening of The Albion by Kirk Westaway in Ho Chi Minh City, which quickly gained recognition within Vietnam’s fine dining scene. 

That same year, he was honored with the Best Chef of the Year in Vietnam award. Having trained in acclaimed kitchens across Europe and South America under influential chefs, Kirk Westaway continues to shape modern British cuisine on a global stage, combining elegance, emotion, and a strong sense of place.
