Back in Malaysia, Tham lectured at KDU University, mentoring the next generation of chefs before establishing his own restaurants. Today, he is the creative force behind a growing portfolio of acclaimed concepts, including Skillet KL, Beta KL, Rhea, Upperhouse, Supernormal, SanTai House, and Social Room. His restaurants have earned multiple prestigious industry accolades, recognising their innovation, consistency, and commitment to Malaysian heritage.

In 2023, Tham made history as the first Malaysian chef appointed by Dior to conceptualise and operate its exclusive pop-up, a groundbreaking collaboration that amplified his international prominence.
