Simon Rogan MBE is an internationally acclaimed chef and a pioneer of the farm-to-table movement. In 2002, he opened his flagship restaurant, L’Enclume, in Cartmel, The Lake District, with a focus on hyperlocal, seasonal ingredients. This vision was supported by the establishment of Our Farm in 2011, a sustainable source of produce for his restaurant group.
Simon expanded his portfolio with Rogan & Co in 2008 and Aulis Cartmel in 2016, an intimate six-seater chef’s table experience. In 2017, he introduced a London version of Aulis, followed by openings in Hong Kong, including Roganic and Aulis in 2019, and Henrock, an elegant restaurant in The Lake District. In 2022, he added The Baker & The Bottleman, a bakery and restaurant in Hong Kong, and ION Harbour in Malta in 2023.
Simon’s innovative dining experiences include “A Day at Our Farm,” launched in 2023, offering al fresco seasonal dining on his farm. Recognised globally for his dedication to sustainability and craftsmanship, Simon was awarded an MBE in 2024 for his contributions to the food industry and continues to inspire with his commitment to culinary excellence.
