Growing up in his grandmother’s restaurant, „Baan Ice” (Ice’s Home), this chef’s journey began early in a shophouse filled with the aromas of Southern Thai cuisine. After his parents’ separation, he lived with his grandmother, absorbing the rhythms of restaurant life until leaving for college in the U.S. With no financial support for culinary school, he earned degrees in Science/Architecture and Management while working as a cook to make ends meet.

Returning to Thailand, he took a corporate job but found himself drawn back to his grandmother’s struggling restaurant. Reviving it with his cooking, the restaurant thrived, leading to the opening of branches across Bangkok’s top malls. Yet, the success left him yearning for his true passion—cooking.

Seeking inspiration, he spent two years in Southern Thailand, learning from fishermen, farmers, and traditional cooks. Immersing himself in ancient techniques and lost culinary arts, he rediscovered the soul of Thai cuisine. This journey culminated in the opening of Sorn, a restaurant that champions authentic Southern Thai cooking, staying true to its roots and traditions, setting a new standard for fine dining in Thailand.
