Tim Golsteijn is a Dutch chef and Executive Chef of Restaurant Bougainville. Passionate about fine gastronomy from an early stage, he trained in several internationally recognised kitchens, including the InterContinental Amstel Amsterdam and Parkers Restaurant, where he refined his technical precision and developed a deep understanding of flavour, aroma and balance.

After progressing through leading establishments in Amsterdam, Golsteijn joined Restaurant Bougainville at its opening in 2017, becoming the creative force behind its culinary identity. His cuisine combines classical French techniques with global influences from Asia, the Middle East and South America, guided by the belief that flavour has the power to evoke memory and emotion.

Under his leadership, the restaurant has earned significant international acclaim and prestigious industry awards for its refined, sensory dining experience. Known for seasonality, elegance and creativity, Golsteijn is regarded as one of the Netherlands’ most respected contemporary chefs.
