Alberto Landgraf is one of the leading young chefs in Brazil. He developed his skills under the guidance of famous masters. After working with Tom Aikens and Gordon Ramsay, among others, he returned to Brazil to open Epice in Sao Paulo.
His naturalistic Brazilian cuisine focused on vegetables, sourcing the best ingredients, using modern and traditional techniques to enhance natural flavors
Later, Alberto Landgraf moved to Rio de Janeiro and opened Oteque, focusing on his Japanese heritage. Simplicity and technique play the main role here.
Without forgetting the human relationship between producers, staff and customers, Alberto’s creative style strives for excellence on the plate, strongly supporting fair trade and trying to make the world a better place for everyone involved in the food chain.
